Around the world, almost 1 million plastic bottles are purchased every minute. Plastic accounts for about 8% of the solid waste in India. 26000 tons of plastic wastes is generated every day in India and 40% of it goes uncollected. Our primary objective was to educate people to identify and separate recyclable and non-recyclable plastics and raise awareness regarding plastic repurposing. And provide them an easy way to recycle their plastic. In order to address these issues, I first created a functional system to oversee the collection and repurposing of plastic waste, and then I made an application to link customers to this system. The name of our app is ESUP. Which is a shorter form of Elimination of Single-Use Plastic. Through this app, the customer can recycle their plastic.
